Born in Chicago, IL and raised in Maryland, Andrew moved to Charleston in 1997 to attend the College of Charleston. While at the College of Charleston, Mr. Tackitt earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration as well as a concentration in Finance. Mr. Tackitt started in the mortgage/real estate industry in 2001. He is currently a member of South Carolina Mortgage Brokers Association as well as the National Association of Mortgage Brokers.

Andrew, is also a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist who helps clients integrate there loan into an over-all short and long term financial plan, which helps to minimize taxes, improve cash flow, and increase wealth.
